And The Wheels Are In Motion!

Not too sure whether things are going good or bad… It’s hard to tell at the moment but we shall find out soon. The Invitational is on Saturday so not only are we rushing to get sponsors in place and everything arranged but we also have a problem with my microphone. When I bought this computer I got a mic with it and I never thought to replace it even though I’ve known that it was terrible all along. So with 5 days left before the broadcast is due I thought I should buy a mic online, so that should be here who knows when. Its coming from the UK and the headphones don’t look too bad, but with a deal line of 5 days its not looking good. If my microphone isn’t here by Tuesday I think knight will either have to get someone else or do it alone. Another bad thing that couldn’t happen at a worse time is my xfire is broken… That’s not a huge deal to somepeople but for the most part my whole site revolves around my screenshots :( But I have found a replacement which I hope is only temporary. Oh and last part is knight is having problems with compression/quality :O So that is the bad part of things… Good part is that people seem to love the idea of the LFS Indy league, our scrolling intervals and on screen shit for the broadcast are coming along smoothly, and we have a few sponsors lined up. Will it take a turn for better or worse? We shall find out this weekend. Knight has been working his ass off at getting this all set up and from what I’ve seen it is awesome let’s just hope our commentating isn’t bad. The invitational is only 40 laps so its not like we will be bored, especially with all the rookies on the track. I wouldn’t doubt seeing close to 10 yellows in the 40 lap sprint race which will suck because most people are used to pitting and getting back into the race and if they get retired off of the grid or very early in the race they may find it boring and that’s not good. We hope the race will be clean enough that people stick around for the season, also they must realize that they are in fact racing with a whole pack of newbs and once the league is started it will whittle down to only the good racers. Leading to a better and cleaner race and not only race but season. Anyways If you want to set up a sponsor deal with us please email me at anorexicpillow at hotmail.com. Also if you want to sign up for the LFS Indy League invitational do so at http://lfsindy.com and follow the links :) Oh and one more odd thing before i go… I’m getting back into wrestling :O Yah I never thought I would see the day but I watched raw this week and I…. I didn’t hate it anyways thats all for today. And dont forget if you are still reading this at blogspot you can exchage this bookmark with http://www.anorexicpillow.com not only is it updated more often but it also has my many many screenshots ahh yes the personal blog and gallery of Anorexicpillow :) Enjoy. Soon to be :)

And the wheels are in motion! Just two days ago me and knight decided to announce the Live For Speed Indy League and opened registration for the invitational. And I gotta tell you I'm not suprised how well its being accepted, this isn't for everyone but those who like it, like it alot. Which I find is best, to have a group of guys that are passionate about it and will stick around for a while not only one season. If you are interested in the LFS Indy League just go to www.lfsindy.com and follow the links :) The invitational race will be on the 30th of september which will basically be just a bunch of people doing a quick 40 laps around the oval with all the IRL rules and etiquette is in tack. Other then that not much has been happening I've registered www.anorexicpillow.com :) I also reformated so I lost.... everything which is both a good and a bad thing, but hey it was a spur of the moment thing and too tell you the truth I'm getting quite... bored with windows the learning and adventure is over with. So I am planning on getting a mac soon and also considering switching back to linux... or atleast dual booting. It's too bad that I'm tied to Windows because of my commitment with Live for speed, other then that I really have no use for windows. In other news I am back in the loop! Oh thats right I'm back in the loop of podcasts seeming that techtv sucks and I dont have the channel I listen to the podcasts. Leo laporte does 12 different podcasts and most of them are weekly! Along with Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht (old hosts of The screensavers) do a weekly vidcast all about digg.com called diggnation, its alot like the broken but less illegal activity. On a sad note Amber Macarthur has quit Call for Help to go to CTV in montreal which is too bad but thats how it is with call for help Leo Laporte does the show year after year while the young co-hosts come and go like Becky Worley, Chris Pirillo, Morgan Webb, Laura Burstein, Andy Walker, and ofcourse everyones favorite Cat Schwartz :) TechTV has been threw hell and back but hopfully it can see that call for help is one of their last good shows. Anyways I guess thats all for todays blog post so check out the gallery I should be posting more as soon as xfire is fixed. Oh, one last thing all itunes fans do not download itunes 7 just yet its still hella buggy wait a few weeks for it to be fixed because once you install 7 you cant go back to an older version. If your still reading this threw blogger, bookmark www.anorexicpillow.com where i have more updated posts and a huge gallery of my screenshots :) Bye!
Well the race at Monza is done and it was an interesting race, not only Formula 1 but GP2 aswell. With GP2 the season is now over :( the Champion of this season for GP2 was Lewis Hamilton which is a pretty good racer. Nico Rosberg says “I can’t wait to fight Lewis in F1″ which will hopfully be soon But dont count on it rosberg if you can’t last more then 9 laps :D Anyways onto the main race which is Formula 1 at Monza! The grid started Kimi, M. Shumacher, and Heidfeld and… well it wasn’t much of a race up front, up front being Michael and Kimi. But the race went on with Alonso starting from 10th right next to his team mate Fisichella due to a 5 position penalty from ‘blocking’ Massa during qualifying which is total bull shit. During the race Alonsos engine decided to die, which is no doubt from him running the shit out of it trying to catch up. I’m glad to see that Honda got a 5 6 finish especially after the amazing debut of the new honda spec engine which blew up twice not even 10 laps into the practice session. In short the rest of the race was massa trying to catch Kubica which came in 3rd which is very impressive seeming that this is his 3rd race and he is driving… well a bmw. And finally Michael Shumacher is retiring at the end of this season, after his amazing speach he told us that he will still be working for Ferrari but as one podcast I listen to says he will prolly end up starting a racing team. Good race for both classes :D Anyways thats all for now Bye!

Hit The Ground, Keep Running!

Well the site was down for a little while there, not down to the peoples eyes but technical difficulties. So now that we are back up I must republish all my Pictures :(Other then that things are looking good :) I’ve found a new love and respect for the Formula V8, Ah yes the F08 for those of my readers that don’t actually race in Live For Speed the f08 is based upon a Formula 3000 racecar, this is the second fastest but most difficult car to drive in LFS. Once mastered though, it offers great rewards to the driver. It’s no Formula One car but don’t let that fool you into thinking this isn’t one awesome car. Just look at that power-to-weight figure! Suffice to say, the acceleration is incredible. It can pull over 3Gs in the bends. And if it stopped any quicker it would hurt (well, more-so). Only drive it if you have the balls. What a car! Anyways that’s all for now I have to start uploading photos to the gallery :D Bye!
